George P. Grimbilas is the Founding Principal of Evrata and an advisor to Rand Thompson Consultants, LLC, a New York executive search firm that places finance professionals.
George began his career in Global Investment Banking in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup in New York City, working across industrials, telecommunications, maritime, consumer products, and financial technology.
Most recently he was on the Investment Team at Nesvold Capital, where he worked on Private Equity and Growth Equity investing across the Financial Services sector, and Investment Banking across the Financial Services sector. He is also the founder of Kymatos LLC, the New York company Evrata operates under.
George received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Government (political theory/political philosophy) from Bowdoin College, where he served as President of the Bowdoin College Finance Society. He was born and raised in New York City and educated at The Browning School on the Upper East Side.
George lives on the Upper East Side in New York City. He enjoys exploring the city, traveling around the United States, traveling to Greece and Italy, model railroading, and playing chess.
