George P. Grimbilas is the Founding Principal of Evrata and an advisor to Rand Thompson Consultants, LLC, a New York executive search firm that places finance professionals.
George began his career in Global Investment Banking in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup in New York City, working across industrials, telecommunications, maritime, consumer products, and financial technology.
Most recently he was on the Investment Team at Nesvold Capital, making Growth Equity investments in companies across Financial Services. He is also the founder of Kymatos LLC, the New York company Evrata operates under.
George received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Government (political theory/political philosophy) from Bowdoin College, where he served as President of the Bowdoin College Finance Society. He was born and raised in New York City and educated at The Browning School on the Upper East Side.
George lives on the Upper East Side in New York City. He enjoys exploring the city, traveling around the United States, traveling to Greece and Italy, model railroading, and playing chess.

Evrata takes its name from the Greek ευρ-, to find. It is an executive search practice for the firms and funds that hire finance professionals, and for the people weighing a move between them.
